Chuck

Chuck is a boneless cut of meat from the neck of the cow, extending upwards from the first three ribs. This cut contains a high amount of connective tissue meaning it is best suited to slow cooking methods that will see the breakdown of this tissue and create a full flavoured meal. Chuck is well suited to stews and curries, especially those done over lengths of time in a slow cooker.
